September 11th




I recently visited the crash site of United Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA. The memorial's location has moved to an area across the road from where it was. There was something striking about the empty space where the memorial used to be. These are a few photos from then and now.

Merriman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in 2000 with a degree in English Writing. In 2009, the university awarded him its prestigious Alumnus of Distinction award. Merriman lives in Oakmont with his fiancĂ©, Stephanie Strasburg.
