Olivia Tant, 18, of Mt. Lebanon poses for a portrait with an Super 8 camera she was given at age 8. Tant, a senior at Mt. Lebanon High School, had her film accepted to the Westport Youth Film Festival in Fairfield, Conn., on May 14th. Her film is a short drama titled "A Rift in Time."

Taxi Wreck


An Allegheny County Sheriff Deputy looks over the wreckage of a taxi that ran into a vacant building next to Mentor Way and Penn Avenue, Downtown on Monday afternoon. Crews said the cab driver was hurt and a pedestrian was critically injured. Three other pedestrians were also injured in the crash.
